In this class, you’ll discover color values in a whole new light. “Sometimes color can be a distraction to understanding how light rakes across a landscape,” says teaching artist David Repyak. This three-hour workshop gives you a chance to paint a variety of maritime environments, working with photographs and a limited color palette, to reveal the power of light and monochromatic value. David, a credentialed art teacher who works with artists of all levels, will also offer a watercolor workshop in floral design in sumi painting in February.
