Hosted by Friends of the Trees Botanicals. Join us for an immersive and hands-on workshop at our 1/2 acre medicinal agroforestry farm. We will cover the following…

• 5 core propagation techniques- seeds, cuttings, division, grafting, and layering
• Tools, techniques, timing and tips for success
• Learning into practice: Divide established plants (garlic chives, arnica, skullcap, iris, etc)
• Divide different root structures (rhizomes, crowns)
• Prepare hardwood cuttings (elderberry, currants)
• Pot up your own plant divisions

About the Instructor & Farm:
Ashley Kehl is co-owner of Friends of the Trees Botanicals Farm. This Farm is a complex ecosystem of over 150 botanical species, where we personally cultivate everything from medicinal herbs and shrubs to hedgerows and trees. Ashley has extensive experience working with these perennial crops and medicinal herbs. He is passionate about regenerative farming practices, building healthy soils, and sharing his hands-on knowledge through workshops and mentorship.
