Enjoy a day of merriment creating a traditional Polish mobile known as a pająk or pająki (plural, pronounced ‘pah-yonkey’), which means spider in Polish. These enchanting chandeliers are traditionally made with straw, paper, dried peas, wool, and feathers. In this class, we will use rye straw, colorful tissue paper, and card stock to make unique decorations or gifts. Mary will provide instruction and all of the materials, so you can focus on creating something festive and whimsical in a fun art-studio setting. All course materials and supplies are provided.
