Explore techniques for painting dynamic Pacific Northwest clouds and water with Art Toolkit Founder and Expeditionary Artist Maria Coryell-Martin at Fort Worden in Port Townsend. We’ll practice loose wet-on-wet washes and expressive brushwork to translate the ever-changing qualities of sky and sea onto paper with confidence and spontaneity.
Learn color mixes from the warm orange and pink hues of sunrise and sunset to the subtle greys of fog. This workshop includes guided exercises, personalized instruction, and plenty of time for individual practice. All levels welcome!
