Looking for a fun, feel-good way to spend a Tuesday morning in LA? On June 9th, 2026, the Westwood community is coming together for a free park cleanup at Westwood Recreation Center — and everyone is welcome to join in.
Three hours. No cost. A cleaner, more beautiful park for the whole neighborhood to enjoy.

What's the Scene
Volunteers will spend the morning clearing litter, tidying walkways, and refreshing the park grounds at one of West LA's most visited recreation spaces. Trash bags and all cleanup equipment are ready and waiting for you on-site — the only rule is to bring your own gloves.
Whether you're looking for a meaningful volunteer experience, a fun outdoor activity with the family, or simply a reason to get outside and meet your neighbors, this is the perfect Tuesday morning plan. Students looking to log community service hours will find this a great fit too.
