Did you know that Transient (Bigg’s) Orcas were spotted nearly every month of 2023 traveling through the waters around Marrowstone Island and Port Townsend? These remarkable predators are among the most frequently observed marine mammals in our region—and many of them are recognizable individuals with their own family histories.
