Learn the historical and cultural context of the “ghost murals” still visible today in downtown Port Townsend, advertising everything from shoes to cigars. This walking tour highlights a selection of these murals, bringing to life stories of local businesses, historic buildings, and the people behind them. Along the way, you’ll gain insight into early modern advertising as well as the town’s dramatic 1890s boom and bust. Led by the Jefferson County Historical Society.
