In this workshop, artist and author Rosalie Haizlett will guide participants through two unique ways to combine an ink drawing with watercolor to quickly and confidently capture birds on paper. This workshop will cover various line art techniques, watercolor fundamentals such as color mixing and layering, as well as tips for achieving accurate, natural proportions for bird subjects.
Participants will leave this beginner-to-intermediate level workshop with two colorful watercolor-and-ink bird sketches, and the skills to transform their reference photos into works of art.
