How you frame a subject changes everything! In this workshop, learn about the power of changing your view from wide and expansive to close and intimate, and everything in between. Explore how small shifts like stepping back, zooming in, rotating around, or looking down at a subject shape the story your art conveys. Even the most familiar subjects become fresh and exciting with the practice of changing your perspective.

Using waterproof sketching materials, Koosje will guide participants through three line drawings on a single page to practice variable framing. Koosje will share tips for loosely adding in watercolor to bring cohesion to the finished triptych. Through the process of observation and changing views, Koosje encourages everyone to use what they have, and keep it simple!
