Dimitri Chamblas delves into the life stories of two remarkable dancers in Ulysse Marion. Through long conversations with Marion Barbeau and Ulysse Zangs, Chamblas resurfaced childhood memories of their training with the Paris Opera Ballet and how their rigorous commitment to movement from a young age indelibly shaped their lives and transformed them into unique, interdisciplinary artists. Each performs a solo, revealing how their foundation in dance has intertwined with other practices—music for Ulysse, acting for Marion—to hone their bodies as finely tuned instruments with exceptional physical skill and emotional sensitivity.
