The Palindrome Port Townsend Event Center located at 1893 S. Jacob Miller Road is hosting a world-class blues show on Friday the 18th of September at 7:00 PM (doors at 6:00PM).
Kyle Rowland & Anson Funderburgh, together with the Tacoma All-Stars, are scheduled to perform a dynamic and entertaining show that is destined to be a night to remember!
Kyle Rowland, fresh from the main stage at this year’s Blues Music Awards in Memphis where he was nominated for best emerging artist, will grace the Palindrome Stage.
A child prodigy, now grown into one of the most electrifying performers in the blues, Kyle’s harmonica stylings are a not-to-miss vibe.
Melding the legendary sound of Anson Funderburgh's guitar--a sound that has anchored his “Anson Funderburgh & The Rockets” band since the early 1980s--with Kyle’s dynamo harp playing and singing brings together the “best of the best.”
Anson Funderburgh is known as one of the top guitar players of the last 50 years in the USA, and Kyle is, perhaps, the most exciting young harmonica master and band leader to come along in decades.
Both artists are award winning masters of their craft and together the results are pure blues magic!
These two stellar performers will be backed by the Tacoma All-Stars; Lorenzo Farrell of Rick Estrin & the Nightcats on keys, Brady Kish on bass and David Hudson on drums.
This blues supergroup is brought to The Palindrome by LTD Presents, the producers of the Downtown Tacoma Blues Festival, and other great shows in the Pacific Northwest.
Tickets are on sale now for just $35 in advance for general admission and $50 for VIP (first three rows). Day of show $40 for general and $55 for VIP.

The Palindrome Event Space is a uniquely historic Port Townsend building that has been home to many events over the last century, ranging from weddings, concerts, dance classes, lectures, illicit prohibition era dance parties and more vaudeville circus than you could shake a juggling club at.
Sometime in the 1920s the barn was used as a dance hall. The Flying Karamazov Brothers juggling troupe purchased it in 1986, renovating it into a practice and rehearsal space and named it “The Palindrome.” Over the years many weddings, dances, and events have been held here.
In 2014 Eaglemount Wine and Cider purchased the property to expand our operations after outgrowing our original space.
Today, we seek to revitalize the life of this beautiful space and are working to ensure this historic structure is used to its full potential in the community. Whether you’re interested in having your dream wedding here or are looking to host another type of event, we would love to work with you to make your dreams for The Palindrome come true. The Palindrome Event Space is a perfect venue for a wide variety of gatherings including concerts and dances, workshops and meetings, celebrations of life, family reunions and benefit fundraisers.
