The North Olympic Salmon Coalition works to promote robust wild salmon stocks for families, fishers, and local economies by furthering habitat restoration and education on the North Olympic Peninsula. This talk will explore the how and why behind the Salmon Coalition's work, focusing on the unique challenges and opportunities for salmon recovery in our community. What are the biggest challenges salmon in our region face? How is the Salmon Coalition working with the community to change to outlook for local salmon populations? Learn about local restoration work and its impact for salmon, our ecosystems, and the broader community. Join us at Fort Flagler State Park, WWII Rec Center on October 28th at 3PM.
