The U&I Dash is gearing up for its 30th annual event on Saturday, March 23, at Klyde Warren Park. This milestone celebration promises an exciting day of activities, featuring two distinct events - a 5k and 1 mile race through Dallas' Arts District and Uptown neighborhoods, followed by a lively festival at the park.

The morning kicks off with the race, open to participants of all ages and fitness levels. The scenic route, starting at Klyde Warren Park, takes runners through the iconic Arts District and Uptown neighborhoods. The event is not only about fitness but also about giving back, as all proceeds from the registration fees benefit U&I, an organization dedicated to serving youth, adults, and Veterans with disabilities.

Registration for the race is now open at TheDash24.com, with a fee of $55 per adult and $40 for children up to 17 years old. For those with furry friends, the dog-friendly race is a highlight, and registration begins at 7 am, followed by the race at 8:30 am.

After the race, the festivities continue with the U&I Dash Festival from 4 pm to 10 pm at Klyde Warren Park. The festival promises a diverse range of entertainment, including live music, the McDonald's Midway, an interactive playground, and culinary delights from Mi Cocina. Attendees can also explore the immersive art show, "Redefining Disabilities Experience," and the Michael's Creative Space, featuring the Rise Up Live Art Show and craft station.

Shop Local Lane showcases Dallas' vibrant community with local shops and brands, creating a unique shopping experience. The U&I Dash is designed to be family-friendly, with face painting, a glow station, and numerous photo opportunities in the heart of Dallas.
