The Texas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty's 2024 Annual Conference: Creating Conscious Communities will take place on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Martin University Center on the campus of Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth.

The conference, now in its 26th year, is the cornerstone of TCADP’s statewide membership engagement efforts. It will feature a panel discussion, a keynote address by Ms. Opal Lee, and the presentation of awards to five individuals who have played a significant role in stopping executions and educating the public and elected officials about the death penalty. We will provide two sets of workshop sessions on a variety of topics, including junk science, victims’ voices, and conservative outreach.
