Calisamba is a vibrant trio of Brazilian musicians who serendipitously crossed paths in May 2017. Their journey began in Huntington Beach, where they performed their debut show in June of the same year. The event was a resounding success, captivating the Brazilian community in Southern California and generating significant buzz. Riding this wave of enthusiasm, Calisamba quickly ascended to become the most beloved and followed Brazilian Samba/Pagode band in California.

Now, they are packing up their gear for an extended U.S. tour in support of a new album. The set list will prominently feature fresh tracks from the latest release, along with fan favorites from previous albums. Come check them out as Calisamba brings vibrant rhythms and the spirit of Brazilian samba to audiences across the country.

The Soka Bistro will have food available for purchase prior to the performance. The Bistro is located on the second floor of the Student Center, adjacent to the Campus Green. A note that Bistro hours are 5:45 – 7:00 PM.
