Discover the art of creating beautiful, custom stacking rings in this engaging and creative workshop with jewelry artist April Ottey. This hands-on class is designed to teach you the skills needed to craft a set of four sterling silver rings that you can wear together as a stack or individually for a more understated look.

During the workshop, you will learn a variety of essential jewelry-making techniques, including sizing, soldering, forging, stamping, and texturing. These skills will allow you to create rings that reflect your own artistic vision and style. To add a touch of sparkle and sophistication, you will set a bezel-mounted stone in one of your rings and incorporate gold accents on others. The gold highlights will be applied using the Keum Boo technique, a traditional Korean gilding process that bonds thin sheets of gold to silver, resulting in a luminous, high-end finish.

This workshop is perfect for beginners who are eager to try something new, as well as those with some experience looking to expand their jewelry-making skills. With all materials provided and personalized guidance from April, you’ll leave with a stunning set of rings and the knowledge to continue creating your own unique jewelry.

Whether you’re making something special for yourself or creating gifts for loved ones, this class is a fun and rewarding way to explore your creativity. No prior experience is needed—just come ready to learn, create, and enjoy the process.
