" Drink some cider, eat some food, and test your marine science knowledge! Join the Port Townsend Marine Science Center at Finnriver Farm & Cidery for a night of marine science-themed trivia on Thursday, May 22nd starting at 5:30 p.m.! The entry fee per team is a sliding scale ($5 - $20/team) with a limit of 6 people per team. There will be four rounds of marine-science themed trivia (we are still working on the categories, but rumor has it that one of them is "otter"ly fantastic!). There will be prizes for the winning team. Teams are encouraged to wear PTMSC apparel, marine animal-themed apparel, and/or Finnriver apparel to the event.
Con-”cider” joining us for a fun evening as we inspire conservation for a thriving Salish Sea! All proceeds benefit the Port Townsend Marine Science Center and their future marine science programming. Contact Gina Vickrey at gvickrey@ptmsc.org with any questions.
Who we are: The Port Townsend Marine Science Center fulfills its mission of “empowering conservation for a thriving Salish Sea” through engaging exhibits, hands-on educational programs, and vital citizen science projects. Our visitors are inspired by our Salish Sea-themed exhibit and a fully articulated orca skeleton in the Museum at Fort Worden State Park as well as rotating exhibits in our Gallery downtown at the Flagship Landing Building. Many more participate in school programs, summer camps, low-tide walks, a lecture series, wildlife cruises, and sustainability workshops.
