This is a monthly gathering for quilters who want to work in a space free from the distractions of home — no pets, no kids, no external responsibilities! Just you and your sewing machine and some friendly, like-minded people. Experienced quilt teacher Barbara Ramsey will be there to answer questions, assist with projects, and demonstrate useful techniques, but this is not a formal classroom environment and Barbara will not be following any lesson plans (she'll just be there as a resource if you need her!).

Open Sew & Quilt welcomes participants with a broad range of skill levels: those who have mastered their craft, folks who are just beginning to think about composition in their quilts, and everyone in between. Together we will find inspiration from one another, meaningful and supportive feedback, and build community in the process. Just bring your project(s) and your machine; irons and ironing boards provided.
