Chapman University’s Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics invites students, alumni, faculty, and community members to Future of Food, an interactive event on Thursday, April 17, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This event will explore the latest advancements in food technology, including plant-based proteins, smart kitchen appliances, vertical farming, and blockchain-powered food traceability.
Attendees will hear from industry leaders and entrepreneurs who are shaping the future of food. The event will feature panel discussions, live demonstrations, and networking opportunities designed to foster connections and spark innovation in the food industry.
Featured speakers include Joe Baird, CEO of Rumiano Cheese, who will moderate the discussion. Panelists include Jane Lim, founder of Thallus Foods; Dave Huang of Next Robot; Duc Huy Tran, Co-CEO of a data-driven restaurant tech startup; Angus McCrabb, Head of Global Operations at Stealth Startup specializing in ghost kitchens; and representatives from Vital Bev, a leader in functional beverage innovations.
