Over half of Habitat EJC’s volunteer labor is provided by women, including on the construction site. Each year, we honor this central role that women play to empower one another, make an impact, and change lives.

Women Build days are a great way to get together, learn, have fun, and contribute to affordable housing. No experience is necessary. Please share the invitation with your friends and family--Women Build days are open to first time volunteers, as long as they are over the of 16.

Habitat provides all the safety equipment, tools, and training. Lunch and snacks are provided, too! In 2023, 49 women participated in Women Builds, contributing a total of 298 hours to building houses with Habitat.
