Join us for an exciting afternoon at Fort Flagler State Park as we share the latest updates and celebrate the incredible progress being made across the park! What’s Happening? There’s so much going on, and we can’t wait to share it with you!

Top of the list is the restoration of the iconic WWII-era theater, a landmark project led in partnership between Washington State Parks and Friends of Fort Flagler (FoFF). You'll get an exclusive, up-close look at the renovation and learn about FoFF’s capital campaign supporting this vital work.

We’ll also dive into the Fort’s WWII history with a talk by Ron Raplee, shining a light on a chapter too often overlooked—especially meaningful as we mark the 80th anniversary of the end of WWII in Europe.

Additional highlights include:

• A preview of the new Welcome Center

• Plans for restoring the Mystery Bay pier • Updates on preservation efforts for the park’s historic buildings

• Improvements to the Upper Campground

We'll also discuss the serious challenges facing Washington State Parks, including potential budget cuts and staff reductions, and what this could mean for Fort Flagler and the local community. This event also serves as the annual meeting of the Friends of Fort Flagler—a chance to reflect on the year’s accomplishments and what lies ahead. Whether you're a long-time member or new to FoFF, we welcome you to come learn, engage, and celebrate the Fort’s bright future with us. We’d love to have you as part of our growing community! 👉 Register now to reserve your spot!
