Founder of Moon Hooch, Wenzl McGowen, returns to his roots of organizing underground DJ parties in Brooklyn.Fourteen years ago, he launched Moon Hooch by throwing warehouse parties. Since then, the band has played over 3,000 shows and has been featured on Tiny Desk, the TED Conference, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon's That's My Jam.
Although his band has achieved international recognition, Wenzl’s passion remains with the underground warehouse scene.
On August 23rd, Wenzl will collaborate with BR.Warehouse to throw a house music party featuring DJs and live saxophone at their warehouse off the Jefferson L train stop.
