In partnership with Netflix, on Friday, August 8, Subway will transform one of its LA-based restaurants into the “Happy Place” – Happy’s surreal and serene dream world from the movie franchise. And Subway is giving fans the chance to see the Happy Place IRL!

Subway’s Happy Place brings the movie franchise to life through iconic moments, offering fans a one-of-a-kind experience. From relaxing on Virginia’s chaise lounge to surviving a bear attack, attendees will feel as if they’ve stepped into both films.

Christopher McDonald, the actor behind legendary character Shooter McGavin, will also be in attendance (12-2pm), engaging with fans throughout the experience and hopefully finding his very own Happy Place 😊

Subway is elevating the experience even more with a full-service restaurant set inside of the Happy Place’s perfectly trimmed hedges and flower beds. Fans can enjoy free Happy Gilmore Meals, featuring the Cold Cut Combo or the All-American Club.

Subway’s country-club-style beer garden will offer a chance for fans to relax with ice-cold beer on tap while playing minigolf on a course inspired by the film’s most memorable shots.
