Discover the magic of kiln-fired enamel jewelry in this Sunday, Sept. 21 workshop. You'll sift, stencil, and walk away wearing your artwork. Teaching artist Aran Galligan (pictured) guides you as you ignite your creativity in a fast-paced, hands-on class — which culminates in you departing with your own finished jewelry!
In this two-hour session, you'll learn the basics of enameling. You'll start by sifting powdered enamel onto pre-cut copper shapes and firing them in a kiln. Next, you'll add a second layer of color and pattern using stencils. Finally, you'll attach ear hooks to create a unique pair of earrings, and you'll add a jump ring to your practice sample to transform it into a pendant that you can wear or gift.
Experience the excitement of transforming color and heat into bold, wearable art. No prior experience is necessary; just bring your enthusiasm and a sense of play!
